O, after a 2 week break with all-star game and some games of the national team (we tied canada 2-2) DEL is now back getting closer to play-offs. 10 games remaining, so teams will be fired up...now or never.
record so far : 54-28 (+31.57 units)
Tuesday's games: all games are starting 1.30 pm ET
Hamburg - Iserlohn: Hamburg to win (1.75) for 1 unit:
Hamburg currently sits in the last play-off spot. 3 points ahead of Iserlohn. So this is a huge game for both teams.
We have here a very strong home team, which one of the biggest home-crowd supports in the league against the 4th best away-team.
Hamburg won all three matches so far this season and is looking for the season sweep and i think they have a good chance to get it.
Hamburg had a very tough schedule the last month before the break. they had to play almost every second day in order to make up for the postponed games at the beginn of season. Now they should be well rested and back to usual home strength. As mentioned many times before hamburg is winning almost every home games against teams that are not in the top four. Witha win tonight they look very good in the play off race and can even look ahead for a possible 6th place. So i expect them to come out strong against a team they own this season.
Iserlohn is dangerous, no doubt, and they should be motivated here as it might be one of the last chances to get back into contention, but value and situation is clearly with the home team.
Nürnberg - Kassel : Nürnberg to win (1.7) for 1 unit
Nürnberg made a strong run before the break. They are UNBEATEN in 2003, looking now to get home ice for first play-off round. The only question for me in this game is, if nürnberg comes out a little rusty after the break.
Kassel struggled big time (as expected) before the break and is hanging on one of the last play-off spots at the moment. but they have to finish strong to clinch.
Before ther break this one would be a no brainer: Nürnberg hot + 9-1 in last 10 home games against kassel struggeling (only 1 win in last 8 games), but even with the break i like the value with the home team here.
Berlin - Düsseldorf: Düsseldorf to win (3.1) for 1 unit
Big play on the dog here. Berlin the league leader will be in a big battle for number 1 spot with köln for the remaining season. After a first half of season, where they were unbeatable, they struggled before the break. They had NO regulation wins in last 7 games, going 6 times in OT.
Düsseldorf is one of the top away teams in league sits in 4th place, but is in danger to loose home ice for first play-off round. They played quite consistant before the break and with best defense in league should at least make it a close game.
My play here is mainly, because of a great value, if you consider the history between teams. Düsseldorf already won the first game in Berlin 5-2.
They won the last 3 matches in Berlin scoring 18 goals. They simply love this place...adding that both teams, comparing the recent form, should not be to different there is great value with the away team.
BOL to all on german ice and if you have questions go ahead.
